Sorry if this is on here. I found a thread about how to carry in the gym, but my question is this.
Who carries in the gym and while we're at it, what is YOUR preferred method.
I am considering a fanny pack. Let me know what you do.

I will be hitting the gym again soon and if I desire to carry I will be wearing my Smartcarry. I can wear it with shorts or sweatpants without a problem.
pocket carry!
Don't go to a gym, but when I work out I use a belly band. Comfortable, and it's easy to hide a small gun in.
When I go to the gym, I work some exercise machines and then use the tread mill...armed!
My KelTec (not my EDC) is in an IWB/SOB holster...no belt needed.:image035:
I usually don't, but a P3AT IWB doesn't pull my shorts down.
You folks are lucky - my club does not permit firearms and before the flames begin, I would boycott too but it is right across the street from my office, my health insurance covers it and I do still have my Kershaw knife. I keep working on them though.
I use a fanny pack for my G27. It is easy enough to keep on while lifting. When I run on the treadmill I just attach it to the handle where I could easily reach it and no one could grab it without catching some fury.
I bought an uncle mike's fanny pack. I took it back because I did not like the quality, I bought a maxpedition octa versipack I haven't got it yet but hopefully tomorrow or the next day. I think it will be the best option for me.
Not to be gross but I had to carry my kel tec p3at with the clip on it in my waistband of my underwear, too close to the skin, not real comfortable. I also had to put my wallet and phone in my pockets which weighed them down. I'm excited. Thanks all.
I carry my KelTec P32 with factory belt clip at 2:00 while working out
I just ordered a PistolWear PT-2. It looks like it might be more comfortable without an undershirt than the belly band I have (and it's getting hot here in San Antonio).
I tried pocket carry today with BDUs and it was ok, but I am really excited to get my max pack.
I carry a Maxpedition Jumbo Versipak to the gym with me, I keep my phone, keys, bottled water, ipod and an XD .45 in it. I hang it on the front of the eliptical machine if I am on that or I go through the trouble of carrying it with me from machine to machine while lifting.
Nothing else has worked for me, BTW, someone mentioned that their gym does not allow weapons. Mine does not either.
UPDATE- Today was my first day with the max octa versipack. I worked out well, I had to flip it around the back while doing squats but otherwise it wasn't terrible. I really do want another bag, but not the trouble of carrying it around the gym. It would look really suspicous(?) if I did that.
I carry my p3at, my wallets (LEO creds and normal), my phone, a knife, a multitool. It worked out real well so far. This summer I will be attending a large polka dance probably and I will need a different pack then. Condor II here I come.
