Census Takers Warning

I tossed both mailings into the trash. They came by and left a note stuck to the door. I tossed it too.

Is there any repercussions if I don't fill one out? Bear with me, this was my first time filling one out and I never had one mailed to me in the past. I can learn from this next time I receive one and decide whether or not to fill it out.

The only questions they should ask is the ones you answered on the form, nothing more.

The only question they should be asking is how many people live at the residence, that is all. No marital status, race, education, etc.

I got a letter from the Census, saying they were going to send me a Census form about two weeks before I got the form. Then I got the Form and mailed it in. Then I got another form just in case I didn't get the first form.

Just another perfect example of the gross waste of $$$ by the Federal Gooberment.

Same here, but I ALSO got a phone call about 2 weeks AFTER sending the form back, just to "verify" the information I had supplied on the form. What a waste of time and money.

They mailed me the form....I threw it in the trash. A nice lady showed up and asked me all the questions. I only answered the question about how many people lived in the home and what ages we were (not dates of birth). I said "no comment" on the other questions and she was fine with that, said "thanks", and left.
