Use the doorway for cover and strafe the lot of them in the back. And their iPods.

See if their surviving brothers and sisters ever think about stealing after that!

The thing about "defense" is that it has practically nothing to do with guns. (As passed on by CCW9MM)

I smack my friend in the head and keep on eating. I'll provide any details I remember to the police.

A dine and dash is not my problem.

They're stealing waffles, for crying out loud.
    Exactly!

At most, I may say to waitress, "Hey, I don't think those guys paid."

I've enountered this mentality with a few folks that conceal carry. I carry for MY protection and the protection of MY family. I don't intervene in matters that don't affect my own safetly. Of course there may be exceptions to this but stealing waffles isn't one of them.

I hate a thief but we have police officers and a legal system to deal with them not concealed permit holders.

This is why I carry. I can stay away from the dangerous car and fire at them. I'm pretty accurate up to 25 yrds. A few rounds start flying and I bet they'll be rethinking the dine & dash stragety.

Y'all don't get it! Sure, it's just waffles now, but that's how it starts. next thing you know those kids will be taking sugar packets, and before long, they may even stick BACON under their SHIRTS. They've got to be stopped!

The only thing I would do is leave the waitress a bigger tip. Some managers take the dine and dash loss out of the wait staff's pay. I'm might try to offset that loss with an extra ten or so.
