    What would I do?

Not a damn thing. I would also advise my friend to do the same.
There is something about firing 4,200 thirty millimeter rounds/min that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

You mind your business and be a good witness. A CWP isn't an endowment to start intervening in crimes in progress.

One thing for sure would never happen. Me hanging from the hood of a car going 60 because I decided to get involved in theft of waffles in the second degree.

As a current waitress who has witnessed many walk-outs (2 times in 4 years I've been walked out on), I would certainly alert a waitress or a manager immediately because I know that many places require their staff to pay for walk-outs despite state law. If I could see their car from where I was sitting I would take down a license number. But that is as far as I would go, why potentially harm myself? I would sooner pay their bill to save the waitress trouble than chase after them.

Thumbs down 3 Out of 10?

Jeez ya'll. Waffle Houses aren't generally known for their stellar health code scores. Eating in one is dangerous enough without Rambo showing up.......

Runaround screaming saying “they’re getting away their getting way!!!!!!!” then make police car sounds and give into low speed chase going around in circles in the parking lot. After a few loops around the parking lot calmly walk back in to the restaurant acting like nothing happened and get more tea( coffee).
Disclaimer. There are no waffle houses I know in NYC so I am assuming I am nowhere near home at this point.

Unless someone is trying to do me or my family harm, I'm really not wanting to get involved. I really just don't care if someone walks out on their check, why the heck would I interrupt my meal with my family because of some stupid kid?

Sometimes these questions that pop up here really make me wonder.

If it was my waitress, I may throw her a bigger tip...
Proven combat techniques may not be flashy and may require a bit more physical effort on the part of the shooter. Further, they may not win competition matches, but they will help ensure your survival in a shooting or gunfight on the street. ~Paul Howe
