    You need to look up the difference between carrying a firearm and brandishing a firearm. Big difference in manner and intent. People can carry without brandishing.

    My neighbor was responding to a possible intruder in his back yard read the OP again he thought there was somebody there before I ever rounded that corner.

    As BkCO1 pointed out bears, mountain lions, coyotes and foxes are all real possibilities in our neck of the woods.


    I don't think he was out of line responding W/ a weapon at all
