Well just got home a little while ago, When I suited up to leave I strapped the 23 back on and actually slipped the 340 in my front weak side pocket of my cargo shorts. I put a revo reload in the strong side cargo pocket and an auto reload in the rear weak pocket. Keys in the front strong pocket with my Benchmade Vex clipped to it. My Surefire E1L was in the weak side cargo pocket. I was in AC in the car for the bulk of the trip, but the few times we stopped I was not uncomfortable at all. I think it just makes sense to go with the gun you are most strong with for travel.

I only travel with one gun because securing the 2nd one is usually a PITA. It's either my G26 or G23, depending on what flavor I feel like when I leave. I use the same holsters for both. My 26 has a laser so usually I carry it more then the 40.
