Warren-based state police have released a sketch of the suspect. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at (814) 728-3600.
State police are seeking information in their search for a man who abducted a woman at gunpoint near the Kinzua Dam at about 3 p.m. Tuesday.
According to police at the Warren Barracks, a man described as white, between 30 and 40 years old, about 5 feet 9 inches tall and balding or short hair, approached a couple having lunch at the popular site.
"At gunpoint he forced both subjects to the ground and tied the male victim using rope and duct tape," according to a state police press release.
Police said he then forced the female into his vehicle, an early model Chevy or GMC truck, black in color with possible red pinstripe and out-of-state registration, and fled the scene.
The male victim freed himself and alerted people in the area who contacted police.
Police say the perpetrator took the female victim to the Red Bridge area of McKean County and assaulted her.
The investigation is continuing and police believe other witnesses may have been at the abduction site.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Pennsylvania State Police at Warren at 728-3600.
State police were assisted by City of Warren Police, the U.S. Forest Service, and Pennsylvania State Police Franklin Aviation.

Too bad, the sketch doesn't have any bullet holes in the forehead...yet!
Hope this dirtbag is off the streets very soon.

Sounds like the guy my daughter is married to. I guess he has a golf club for "home defense".
At least my other daughter's man has an XD, couple of ARs, and a Springer 1911. I never really worry about her when she's with him.

One of the reasons I want my daughters to be armed and trained themselves. Can't always rely on somebody else saving them, not even a husband.

Amen to that! Besides, sometimes the husband becomes the predator.

Unfortunately, people don't carry because they have their head in the sand and refuse to take measures to defend themselves beyond "call 911".
Don't feel bad because they chose not to defend themselves...
