    1. It was an acceptable LE tactic, I assume it still is, to fire into the ground in front of a mob that is threatening and advancing on you. The rounds will bounce up and impact the legs. Usually non-lethal but definitely a man-stopper. This may be the only time that firing lead but not shooting center mass is legally acceptable. Better have a great lawyer.

    2. I would think that full auto fire, even if not statistically effective, would be a great deterrent. It would steer me away real quick like.

    Seriously, if there is an angry mob outside my house, they've made a big mistake in their navigation skills.

    If this really happened, all bets are off just as soon as they try to breech my house, at this point I don't have many other options.

    Yes, that was really my point. I have little to steal, seriously no fancy electronics, and only one gun which almost no one knows about. Meth heads dont travel in gangs.

    So in my 2nd post I used a SHTF scenario. And it's a poor outcome for sure....but not impossible.
