A+++ Glad you and your family are safe. Maybe the "punk kid" has the manager running scared, which is why he still has a job. Lucky for him he went back to work rather than the morgue. Great reaction and read on your part!

    Good story, well played.

Good job. I hate people coming up to me or invading the bubble for any reason if I don't know them. I would have done the same thing.

I think you did well. I especially like how at first, he invaded your bubble, then at the right moment; you invaded his, and he got all discombobulated.

Your profile picture in its self explains enough.

Seems like you handled it well, I sure as heck wouldn't have been able to pull it off.

I would say outstanding job to your wife. nice to see that her SA is active and working. as for the bg, I would say your best option was too keep the distance between you short. you did not know what he had, you have the hands on skills and the ability to use your knife in CQ. all around I would say that was the best choise for the situation.

and you and your family went home safe and sound. Job well done.

I hate to Monday morning quarterback, but why did you move the cart behind you? Depending on the angle that could have been depicted as an aggressive move. Running the guy over with the cart would have been an "oops".

I said in the op that my 3 and 2 yr old girls were on and in the cart. I moved the cart to put myself between them and this whack job. My wife was several feet further away in the same direction I moved the cart in.
