So, the potential BG's are between you and your wife?

    Why?

Once determined that wife was still occupied, I would have hung in the hallway, we'd have gone out the side exit together. food/drinks finished or not. Call 911 from outside.
    Rats!
    It could be worse!
    I suppose

Not between, no. Near the exit on that side. She wasn't in danger of walking through them, and I met her at the hallway when I heard the door.

All I can tell you is that they were dressed like your typical thug,
If that means the very first guys you saw looked like thugs you and GF should have been out the door immediately. Unless it was a real pee emergency, you could go find someplace else and not stay where trouble is brewing.

MYOB and get out of Dodge. Makes good sense.
I believe this to be a good first reaction. When home and safe though what would be wrong with calling the business and telling them what happened. Tell them you no longer feel safe in their establishment. That you hope they can do something about it. Maybe mentioning that you are going to tell your friends about the dangers there.
If they do not respond in a way that suits you then a call to the parent company would be in order.

A business will react when their customer base is threatened. It is in their best interest if they wish to remain in business.

Go directly out one of the side doors and leave. Call 911 and report the potential incident.
I want no part of watching or seeing what might happen...bye-bye.

Stay right outside the women's bathroom until your gf comes out and cut a trail ASAP. Forget the drinks and other stuff. When even a hint of trouble starts to bubble, waste no time and drop a dime.
