How does carrying make you feel? Ready? Or Looking?
Which would you prefer to feel, ready or looking?
Which would you prefer in your companions, ready or looking?
Does carrying contribute one way or another, to being ready to fight or looking for a fight?

Ready only looking will get you in trouble. There is a difference in SA and looking for a fight. Looking for a fight is a bad idea.

I'm never looking for a fight, but if one happens, and I can't get out of the way, I'm prepared.

I'm never looking for a fight. I'm a very passive guy. I will sooner offer a guy a beer over a verbal argument then throw a fist.
However, Anyone who knows me knows i'm ready for a fight.

Id have to say ready for a fight not looking i can fight and have and its not my idea of a good saturday night.
But i think we are all guilty of looking at the whole area looking for the possibilty of a fight, not to start one but one that may be brought to us.
I think its all about the mentality of how your SA works yes i am looking for a possible "fight" but not because i want to fight but because i dont want to.

If I was looking for a fight, you'd know. I'd be wearing body armor and carrying a rife, and that would be a very overt clue that most people wouldn't miss...
If I was 'ready' for a fight, the same.
I am hoping I don't get into a fight. I am hoping I can get away from danger and all that stuf...
And I'm willing to shoot someone with a small, insignificant pistol (all pistols are insignificant...) to get away from danger if that is what it takes.
Fighting is for people who get paid to do it...or chumps.

I'm ready for a fight and having a gun with me makes me feel ready. If I were looking for a fight I would then be a criminal and I would probably be wearing a bullet proof vest, a ski mask and carrying an automatic carbine.

I'm a simple man, aged with experience and many of life's lessons. I only wish to be left alone. I will walk away from potential trouble, and I will always choose the "Excuse me, my bad." route.
However, any potential attack will be met with any and all unfair violence I can muster. Your choice to let me be and choose another victim is better for you. I am NEVER looking for a fight.

i am ready for a fight, i guess you could also say we are all not looking for a fight, but we do all look for threats to emerge. SA is all about looking for and finding threats before they endanger us. Noone actively seeks out the threat, but passively through our own training, we have an eye out for it
