I would absolutely have waited inside a safe room with the rest of the family, calling 911, shotgun pointed at the door to the room. There is no reason to be a hero here. They can take anything and everything they want, but my job is to protect my family and myself. I'm glad this gentleman made it ok.

very lucky homeowner. I definitely would not have engaged the perps and left my wife and kids in the house alone.
