Very well executed "take over" robbery. Hard to speculate possible actions with two of the susps off camera so much. It would likely be a very tough row to hoe.

    This.

The two did not seemed to concerned with the patrons once they told them to get on the floor and ran past them, but as Guantes said we do not know what those two are doing off camera.
Pretty atheletic jump over the counter on the entry.

Tough to say since you cannot see the 2 perps off camera, but I would not be comfortable just laying in the floor waiting for them to leave. What's to say they decide to pop a cap on everyone as they walk out the door.

I would try to take cover by sliding behind the displays while drawing my weapon. 3 on 1 is not the ideal fight situation, but I'm not going to just lay in the floor hoping they don't shoot me on the way out of the store!

If your going to try anything it is going to take more than a 5 shot snub or a .380. That said Orangevol makes a good point of not just laying on the floor waiting to get shot. Again that situation is a worse case scenario.

To be honest I think your sig line tells it all. If its needed, just do it. If not, be a good witness

It's too bad a CC individual was not one of the patrons and saw them as they approached the door. I am not a trained LEO or military, but a lot of times by SA I will reach for my firearm by instinct. Three hooded individuals approaching a Stop and Rob store at night might have been met with 45 hollow points before the door was even fully opened.

They sure didn't seem like amateurs. I tend to believe at least one of those two off camera was doing the cover job of contact and cover.

They were in and out of there in 36 seconds and already had the drop on every customer in the store, 2 seconds in two guys through the door one is over the counter. How fast can you draw and see your front sight? We know how fast we can do it during a steel challenge match, but drawing from concealment with multiple moving attackers who already have the drop on you??? 5 seconds in everybody is on the ground. I think you would have to take cover in the first second or 2 seconds, to put up a good fight, 3 seconds would be to late. I assume the other 2 were making sure that there were no heros. Luckily nobody got hurt. I used the to work the graveyard shift for Lucky Stores in Vegas back in the late 80's early 90's. We sold alcohol 24 hours a day, I was escorted out of the store by gun point twice and held up a couple more times (didn't carry back then I wasn't even 21 yet). There were instances when if I had a weapon I would have won and 2 where they had the drop on me and I would have lost. It all depends on the situation at hand. Sometimes we dealt with shoplifters who came back for revenge (we would catch them and relieve them or their jackets, shoes etc....). These guys were good and fast and luckily nobody got hurt, but they can't win everytime!!!!

We have no idea what the two on the right are doing.

There was little if any time to react.

The only chance CCH may have is always at the stop and rob: Always watch the door when in line/paying and be ready to run to the back of the store if see someone charging the door. Always. Period. Have it preloaded in your brain everytime. Maybe not a bad plan to preload.

There are three vs one hypothetical CCH - who are you going to shoot? First guy, second guy, delayed third guy? Unless you are moving off the X, you likely get shot. Patrons in line of fire as well all clumped at the counter. Seems to me an extremely high risk/poor/fantasy Chuck Bronson idea.

No way; This was really well executed and thankful they just wanted to rob the place and no more

    Comply. Get down. Period.

All else is stupid high risk; Note no one shot in this robbery.

Maybe, maybe attempt to get to the back of the store after proned out. You better move FAST......for cover and draw defensively if they come back there. To do this, you either fully fear they intend to execute you or rob you and discover your gun then shoot you. However, dont know what the two are doing off camera. If they cover the patrons, you are up creek without paddle. Expect to get shot and/or chased to the back and prepare accordingly for worst case, hope for best.

Note: It looks like the first guy over the counter takes the clerk somewhere, second guy takes the cash, and third guy goes off camera to right where clerk went with first guy.

    Thanks for posting this

One more reason why I like pocket carry. When I'm in a convenience store I keep one hand on my EDC or my BUG. LC9 right pocket, LCP left pocket.

In a situation like this one it happens so quickly and you don't know what the other guys are doing, but I just look like a patron with his hands in his pockets.

But in the situation in that video, I do nothing. It happened so fast I don't know what else to do rather than comply with what they want. Really scary!

The question that comes to my mind is why were these guys robbing a 7-11? Low risk compared to a bank? Because their skill level would seem to be up there at the hgher robbery level.

Good point. Maybe they just wanted to keep in practice for bigger and better things.

One time when we were held up like that at work, by the time cops got there 10 minutes or so, they had already held up 2 other places. Maybe they get a rush from it???
