Really glad all of you got home safe and sound.

There's an old saying, and I forget who said it, but it goes like this, "sometimes its the fool who rushes in, who gets the job done",

Playing off of the adage "only fools rush in".

Glockman, Glad it all went well.

I refuse to MMQBack what went down.
When crap happens, it either goes in slow motion, or FF, and in instances such as these, I believe it to be the latter.

Glad all worked out well, hope the two dirtbags' careers finish in the near future, although it sounds like you did give them something to ponder for a while.

Glockman10mm - glad you and yours are OK. Hard telling if there were 3 perps or 2, but helping out a fellow man shows good character. Glad stick man got a bit of his own medicine and I wonder if mama hit the kicker and he just took off with a less than disabling wound. I just put a front night sight on my 640 and it is easier to find the front sight in any or no light - mama will like the night sights.

Thank God that went as well as it did - bravo on being a good Samaritan & protector wrapped into one. Your story is an inspiring one, and you were a good husband and father to take action as you did. Sounds like you have a good wife to have your back as she did!

Hurt knuckles is a good reason to carry a heavy revolver...sometimes the BGs accidentally bump their head on it before you get a chance to fire it.

Hopefully the bad guys figured out while they were running through the woods in the dark that they had made an epic fail mistake...they brought a stick to a gun fight.

This story sounds a bit like an episode of "The Equalizer," minus the gun!

    Two thoughts:
    1. Hope you did not get AIDS from the cuts on your hands.

    2. When a shoestring is caught in a bike chain, I taught my kids to first, simply pull the shoe off, THEN untangle it at your leisure and much greater comfort, instead of straining, standing on your head to get it loose.

Now that right there is funny.

Sure sounded like a setup at the start to me. Glad everything turned out for the better in regards to you and you family. Nice job with the butt kicking too; kids these days.
