I'm confused. It looks like they sprayed something in the shop owners face. Was it pepper spray? if so, why is it not affecting him? Second question, why were the robbers not able to get out the door, did it have some kind of automatic lock?

Yep, it's a re-post, but a good one. The incident took place in early 2009 in Phoenix. The store owner remotely locked the door after he got maced, and each perp was shot at least once. It's a hoot watching them scramble, trying to get away from gramps with a gun... hiding behind a table, in ostrich mode.

You can fight thru pepper spray. It hurts and it sucks, but if SHTF you can do it. In training, the pepper spray training sucks bad , but we have to work thru it.

I noticed that, but with what was going on (had that shot killed the dirtbag), I think it would still have been ruled an act of self-defense.OMOYMV
