Sticks, no need to appolgize for post 38. You bring up some very good questions. Here is on my take. You are correct, no one knows until it happens and chances are will not remember every detail correctly. From my days in the Army and training afterwards, it comes down to a couple of things for me. Keep it simple, and train. Everyone fails to their highest level of training. Limit your techniques, so you are the very best in the ones you train on. You do not have to be the best, just better than the person attacking you.
