We have outdoor plumbing up North @ camp.
I carry my Dan Wesson .357 mag. 6 in. barrel in a cheap shoulder holster, plus my M&P9c, just about everywhere, including the outhouse.
I ain't skeerd.

I'd be concerned about blowing myself and the outhouse up along with the bear. Our outhouse is a frightening place to use.

.44 mag is my choice of wilderness gun. .357 is a good one too. If a semi-auto is required, they make .50's, but I would feel ok with a .45, I'd just pull the trigger a few more times :)

Well now we know the answer to that age old question: Does a bear ____ in the woods?
No, he goes to the outhouse.
