Nice production - and the music is sobering.

    Lessons learned?

Terrible. Police Officers put themselves at risk every day and are underpaid and underappreciated.

I'll never understand how a BG can make such shots with a snub 38 shooting over his shoulder.

Very sad. I recommend that the passenger window only be lowered enough to give the officer you DL and registration if you are stopped for a traffic violation. This provides a safety zone for you and the officer. You can still communicate with him,and he with you,and he will recognize that a firearm can't be deployed thru that small crack. Hands on the steering wheel, don't move or reach for anyting unless he tells you to. Do what you can to put the officer at ease. They all have things like this on their minds when they stop someone. God bless them all for their service and sacrifice.

^ This. Every officer that pulls you over, or confronts you has this to think about. I extend every courtesy possible, and allow the officer to control the situation in a manner that makes them feel safest. There's a time to champion your 2A rights, but this is not the time or place.

Terrible thing to happen. I respect the job of police officers.
