Scary Scenario and lots of comments already so I'm not sure if this was mentioned already. You were lucky you were with yourself. But I sometimes wonder about this if my wife was in Truck and more so my 2.5yr old strapped in her carseat. I would probably as I pretend to unbuckle my seatbelt go for my weapon. This also leads me to get another smaller .380 to hide somewhere in truck by door.
