    2. shot from estimated 165yds....never say never, if you have the opportunity practice some long distance shots because you never can tell

    3. absolutely ridiculous that this idiot took and argument over dogs pooping in his yard and turned it into a double homicide/active shooting situation
    4. good job to the secondary officer for not shooting the old timer. considering all he probably knew when he pulled up was that an officer needed assistance and multiple shots were fired.

Old Dude is way past cool!

Glad he was able to assist and stay out of harms way as well.
Anti gunners should ask THAT officer if he is ok with average citizens having firearms?
Sure they could say the families of the couple that was killed by the shooter are not too pleased with firearms, but this is life.
The owners of the dogs should have tried to keep the dogs away from the nutjob.
Did they ever think to use a tie-out for the animals?

That is great! Very sad that the two victims were killed over something so stupid compared to a life. However at least some instant justice was served. Would love to hear the guys back story of why he felt compelled to shoot that far, was he confident had he done it before etc etc.?

I've pulled off 50 yard shots with my SP101, but not in a situation like this. And hitting him 3 times, you can't call it luck.

Football field and almost 2/3, actually. If true then that is freaking awesome.

My favorite quote from this calm, cool, collected cowboy; "I had a side view of that man the whole time standin' there and I thought....I'm fixin' to put one in him if I can." Love it.
