Wife just saw the business end of my neighbor's shotgun. LEOs inbound.

I'm stuck at work and my neighbor just threatened to shoot my dog and my wife while pointing a shotgun at them. All because the Labradane escaped the fence. He CAME OUT OF HIS HOUSE WHERE HE WAS SAFE to perform this stunt. Deputies en route... Tomorrow should be interesting.

Yep, however, I have found that "interesting" events are not the source of fun that they once were. Hope everything works out OK, and the LEOs take care of this guy.

3 Deputies just talked to her and are now having a chit chat with the fool, which I hope ends in a free ride to the grey bar hotel.

He is the owner's son-in-law, and is frequently drunk or drugged, and likes to taunt my dogs when he's outside. I think he's a powderkeg. Hopefully now all wet.

It didn't help matters that she shouldn't have been out there chasing the dog in the first place. Recovering from a toe amputation and tendon surgery, and didn't have time to put her boot on when she heard the guy yelling in a rage.

Sounds like you need to keep the dogs and wife on your property and he needs to keep his shotgun in the house. Glad the guy didnt get too crazy. Id keep a closer eye on him and the dogs. He is surely pissed now. He might try to poison your dogs or do something else stupid.

    Homeowner.

And she has her choice of H&K USP 40, Mossy 500, Ruger Security Six 357 Magnum, or a lever action 44-40.

That sounds like a bit muh for a neighbor to do. Hope it all is ok but I could honestly never let it lie that he pointed a gun at my wife for zero reason.

Yeah, we keep them in the back yard fence, she must have broken out somehow. She went out there to round up the dog, the source of his discontent. I get along well with the homeowner and his live in son, it's just this one, a visitor, who's the problem.

I would have been on the way home except I'm the only on duty Paramedic in the whole county, and she told me not to come.

Nothing will happen, it’s his word against your wife’s and the dog is lose you might get a ticket. He is within his right to not have a lose dog attack him. By law you have a responsibly to restrain your dog

I agree save for the part about pointing the shotgun at the wife. If he is in fact inebriated he may even be stupid enough to admit to that part. If he does that should be enough to get him to jail for the night.
