Tell me what you would say?
True story. Friday night my Wife and I went to a newly opened casino in a neighboring state. Had a nice dinner and played on the slot machines for a while. Wife goes through her money, $20.00, yah we are big gamblers. So I'm down to my last $5.00 out of my $20.00 and hit a jackpot. Win about $55.00 and play until I'm down to $41.55. Cash out and leave with $1.55 extra in my pocket but still out the dinner.
Anyway back to the reason for the post. We catch a ride out to the car on a modified golf cart. The driver drops us off and a car had just pulled in next to our car. Four people climb out of the car, two ladies and two men. The driver of the shuttle offers them a ride and they decline saying its a nice night and the girls want to walk. The shuttle driver leaves us alone In the parking lot with these people. Now I'm not carrying because we're not allowed to in the casinos. As the driver pulls away one of the guys turns to me and asks if we had a good time. Of course I tell him the truth and say we had a ball. Then one of the girls asks us if we had won any money. So I laugh and say yah we cleaned up, all 4 stop and turn toward us than I tell them I was up $1.55. All four laugh, wish us a safe trip home and wonder towards the casino.
Now I didn't feel threatened at all from these people. The body language from these people gave no sign of aggression. But of course I did keep myself between them and my wife. I had the doors unlocked and wife was in a position to get in the car.
As we get in the car I turn to my Wife, who is a former LEO, and ask her if she thought anyone was dumb enough to stand in a dark parking lot and tell 4 strangers they had just won a pocket full of cash. She just laughed and said well of course some would. We both laughed and drove off.
So my question to all of you is, do you think the sheep would brag about their winnings and probably get robbed?
