The "bravado in their walk" part made me lol. I walk with confidence and purpose, EVERYBODY LOOK OUT!

Aside from the hockey mask, maybe the fact the guy was carrying a rifle might have been a clue something was amiss.
As for me, I prefer to be more of a grey man. I don't wan't anything to draw attention to me or my Glock baseball cap, 5.11 pants, NRA shirt and photographers vest.
It's kind of like how some people have a sudden and insatiable desire to talk about vampires after the Twilight series became popular, except zombies are much less gay and more likely to exist one day

I kinda think everyone here can recognize a guy with a ski mask, hoody, and/or a long coat walking stiff legged through a mall and can figure he/she is up to no good. If it's most everyone else who has a license to carry I'm not looking for them. I'm into SA, protecting myself and family, and looking for ways to evade and escape rather than confront (if possible). I don't like the odds on handguns going up against semi-auto rifles.

The active shooter will be easy to spot in a crowd, as he will be the one everyone is running away from.

Obviously, one man's SPAM is another man's TACTICAL NINJA TRAINING. It's aways amazed me how much being shot-at just a couple a' times will so increase your attention to detail. Y'all be safe out there.

I've only been shot at once but Damian Ross still looks like a goofball to me.

When in a crowd just yell "look there is a robber over there with a gun" and see who goes for their weapon...
