Better to be safe than sorry. Keep on alert but at the same time, it may be nothing. We had a snow last week and the snow falling off the roof made a terrible thump. If it happened in the middle of the night, I'd be concerned without a doubt. I don't know if you have snow where you're at, I'm just saying that weird things happen sometimes and its nothing.

The police are not there to protect you from crime, they are there to arrest the guy after the crime has been committed, assuming they find him. It is your responsibility to protect yourself and your family.

glad you and your family are ok... nighttime bumps can be real eye openers.... get your family involved in a plan so you don't get them mixed in to the cross fire... My family has a distinct plan each person has a duty. stay safe

Accuracy ALWAYS WINS! So carry what you can hit with.

If you find yourself in a fair fight your tactics stink.

I'm gonna assume since your username is crestwood and you live in nepa you're from the mountaintop area. I live in dallas and work in wilkes barre. I have many friends from that area and there has been a recent string of break ins near my boss who lives in mountaintop. Some very forecful as in breaking windows or breaking down doors! Be careful!
