I applaud the management of the bank. If more businesses openly stated that they welcomed lawful carry, the criminals would be put on notice that those businesses are not going to be easy targets, and there would be fewer crimes, or at least fewer crimes against those particular businesses.
Hell, I open carry in my bank any time I go in. I had to have some papers notarized a couple months ago and the only person available at the time was a V.P., he looked at my sidearm and said "Nice" and proceeded with business.Quote:

...and what were you sportin' that day???
God bless Texas.
Don't Mess with TEXAS!
I'd move my business to that bank in a second.
Disarming people and leaving them at the mercy of the criminal makes sense to the leftist.
Pretty much the sentiment around here. They are about 15 miles from me.
Just another thing to love about the great state of Texas. Proud to be a native Texan.
I like the way that banker thinks.:hand9:
In FL, we can CC in any bank, but I'm sure it's tolerated rather than appreciated...I live in a very liberal area.:hand1:
You folks from Texas are my hereos! I just wish my home was not underwater on my mortgage and I could move there. (:
BTW, I do not think think there has been any publicity of this sort of thing by mass media up here.
I bet that bank never gets robbed. Very cool.
My Credit Unioin here in FL just installed metal detecotrs in all branches. I asked why and was told so no firearms could be brought in. I said I was a CWL holder and was uncomfortable retreiving valubles or cash and having to leave my firearm in my vehicle. They said one of them would walk me out if I wanted. Maybe that cute blonde will take me out to my bike and distract the bad guys.
I know its only my opinion, but I feel that the State of Texas residents would be one of the hardest to have any gun ban enforced. Most people I know are extremely pro gun and the more hey have the better.
Call it being a cowboy or whatever. I feel the state would vote to succed before a gun ban was allowed in Texas.
