Good for her. Glad it went good. But I bet she carries a gun on her person now instead of in the center console.

Having a gun on you in a car can make it harder to get to. IMO one of those fancy car holsters is much faster to draw from (or "from which to draw" if you're all fancy and/or British).

    Or educated...

I'm glad she thought enough to have a gun, regardless of where she keeps it.

Yeah, she's lucky she wasn't shot while she reached into the center console.

I am glad she won this one. Next step is to keep it on her person. Like the above poster pointed out, she could have been shot. I admire the fight in her.....

Depends on your mode of car carry.

Even if I remove my gun in the car ( which only happens on long trips) I put it on before exiting the vehicle.

Glad it worked out for her this time. Hopefully there won't be a next, but she needs to be prepared in case.

Yep, that's why I said "can" and not "does". I prefer IWB at about 3 o'clock, which is right about where ones seatbelt buckles.

Maybe just returned from night classes and as we all know no crime occurs on school campuses, and she had to leave the handgun in the car.

She was very fortunate, and as another commenter stated in another thread, if you have mercy and tendency to think of the thug as a child and not a potential killer, you may have already lost the fight. She's very fortunate this robber didn't start shooting as there is no solid truth thugs will run when a firearm is pointed back at them.
