Let’s add it to the list of things not to bring to a gunfight – brass knuckles.

The family of 44-year-old Christopher Dennison is speaking out after he was killed by a homeowner whose home he broke into.
You bring brass knuckles you’re not intending to just beat someone up; they are lethal weapons perfectly capable of causing grave injury or death.

    THAT is Funny Stuff. LOLOLOL
I have actually answered 911 calls like that. If I knocked my OWN door in while wearing a "Ski Mask", my wife would dump a mag into me.
    And Rightfully So !

Slim Chance I'd live long enough to say it was just a 'prank'. The old-girl can and WILL shoot. I even use the doorbell when I come home from somewhere.

Wearing a mask, armed, desiring to commit felony A&B (or worse), B&E ... all because he was "doing it for us" (his family, to 'make ends meet'). Yeah.

Apparently he was surprised as hell that the citizen protected the lives of the residents to halt the violence. Sux to be him, I guess.

To the family of the perp: cope. And hope you've taught your other family members better manners in this life.

Sounds like somebody didn't pay a gambling, drug, etc. debt. Regardless, that doesn't give one the right to burst into somebody's home and the BG's dead wrong for doing so.

Guess he's not such a stand-up husband and father... anymore.

Shaking my head here. Delivering pizzas or working at the car wash wasn't an option? Sheesh.

Advice to the widow: go complain to the "third party," not the TV news.

He opted for early retirement. Not a bad choice, considering.

Amazing. I think the wife's attitude is more prevalent in today's culture of victimization.

What the felon failed to realize was that he was playing with people's lives. Which he had zero right to do.

The citizen wasn't playing that game ... which he had every right to do.

    'Nuff said.
