No-win scenario..you decide what you would do

OK, maybe not a Kobyashi Maru scenario but let put forth this scenario:

What would you do if you are in Store, large government building (Post Office), large business center and it was taken over by terrorist. You are legally armed (or not ) and you are not seen. You take out a terrorist but can't get out of the building. The remaining terrorist now know that there is an armed GG and call out that if you do not surrender they will kill a child. Then they will kill more after that until you come out.

    Do you:
    A- give yourself up
    B- stay in hiding

Caveats: you are not Jack Bauer nor any other fictional character that can take out 20 terrorists with a handgun.
Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?”
And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”

    Isaiah 6:8

100% chance I would not be carrying the Post Office.

I'm not surrendering, and if it is one-on-one, I won't be hiding.

The only way of staying alive is to retain the means of defending myself, basically. No way am I giving up the means. What they do because they're ticked off is on them. I'll do what I can, if able, but no way am I disarming.

Hmm. I would steal the two way radio from the terrorist I killed and then listen in on the conversation of the other terrorists. I would then occasionally taunt them and draw them in to various booby traps I set using normal household items I gathered from around the building. I would save the head terrorist for last so that we could have a drawn out fight.

But seriously, I would not give myself up. They're terrorists. They have every intention of killing everyone for their terror. You're not saving anyone by giving yourself up.

Sounds like Gecko45 has trained you well. Remember this is why you carry a minimum of 3 guns. You can create your own private army.

If you're talking about a media terrorist i.e anybody with a gun and hostage I probably wouldn't shoot the 1st guy.

If you're talking about terrorists making a political/religious statement then UAL 93 applies. Lets Roll!
