As I was told years ago by my instructor, "Remember your ABCs, Always Bring Clipboard" Those hard metal ones are very nice to hit with or block with if needed but I would hate to need it, rather have a gun but none of my services ever allowed them, PD responce was always good and to EVERY CALL (after an incident in 01 where the PT and family got into a dispute and tried to turn it on our ppl. ) Never know what we are gonna get intoso I would rather be armed.
It always is nice to work with a steady partner and be able to ask with help getting the X,Y or Z out of the truck and not have them question you or look at you like *** do you mean you need help getting the suction unit or whatever.
"The world is filled with violence. Because criminals carry guns, we decent law-abiding citizens should also have guns. Otherwise they will win and the decent people will lose."

002: I can relate. Used to be a "street dancer". BTDT, but weren't restrict from carry by law, AFAIK. Time was when deputies were told: "If you need backup in (our end of the county), call the fire department, they're armed and they'll come". Ah, the good old days! Glad y'all are safe. Ya' done good! Keep it up!
