Even with a revolver under such laws one would have to have time and lucidity available inorder to load the weapon...which might be difficult to do with a BG standing over top of you.

Let me understand this. . . We (the state) are going to give you permission to have the tools to defend yourself and then REMOVE any practicality of using them in the real world. . . . I can hear the conversation now.

ďDear robber, hold on a second. Please wait while I, for the safety of you and myself, unlock my safe to retrieve my gun, then go to another room to retrieve the bullets. Here, have a seat on the edge of my bed. May I get you some cookies or a slice of pie while you wait? You already have a knife so go ahead slice off a piece of pie yourself, Iíll be right back. . . . . OK, Iím ready to defend myself. Sorry, Iíll wait while you finish the pie. . . OK, are we all ready now? Great. FREEZE Slimeball, I have a gun and WILL defend myself!!!Ē

    Sounds logical.

It took me a half hour to digest the concept as law, even though it makes totally no practical sense at all. :(

This news item reminded me that I need to buy a revolver, as strongly suggested to us all by the instructor, in order to be MA legal and expedient. The law does not see speedloaders as a 'magazine', yet, so he advised we invest in two or three for our otherwise locked & secured (per the law) revolvers.

    I kid you not.

HA! How many laws besides those that ban the initiation of force make any practical sense?

There should only be 2 laws needed in this country:
    1. There shall be no initiation of force.
    2. There shall be no making of any other laws besides law #1

Any violation of said rules results in immediate deportation (IF you survived after breaking rule #1). Second violations if you survived the first time around results in 80 lashings while crucified in the center of the closest city/town.

Everything else will resolve itself. The only thing between a man's right to life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness is initiation of force by another individual or group of individuals. Nothing else matters. Only the initiation of force can stop a man's mind, rendering it useless as a means of survival.

Man do I know how to jump off topic or what?
