I hope she appreciates that the likelihood of being attacked when outside of a 3500 lb box of steel (the car) is huge, as compared to being attacked while inside that box. Compromised, indeed. For her sake, I hope she thinks long and hard about the simple distinction between owning a gun and being able to defend. They are not the same thing. Violent felons know this and they prey upon people who don't.
