Now that sounds like one for the Mythbusters!
Maybe he would like to do a demonstration for us. How about your arm him with a paper towel roll filled with water balloons or something to give it the correct weight and balance, and you get an airsoft? I think it would make for an amusing video.

Heck, if he's that confident, give him a real maglite and me a real gun...
A man fires a rifle for many years, and he goes to war. And afterward he turns the rifle in at the armory, and he believes he's finished with the rifle. But no matter what else he might do with his hands - love a woman, build a house, change his son's diaper - his hands remember the rifle.

If you throw a Maglite and miss... and then reach and get another one... is that considered carrying an extra Mag?

    Truckers have..... large.... um.... imaginations.

I dunno, did you have it in a Mag pouch?

    This thread is downright silly.

A man who doesn't know his limitations is man that is a fool.

Where was this super Jedi trucker trained ? Does he carry a light sabre also, does he talk to Obi Won in the middle of the night while driving cross country ?

For every wannabee bad mo fo there are 20 quite professionals that can prove him a fool without him even knowing it.

If you keep it in the side pocket of your driver's door, that'd be the Mag well, I guess.

    Sorry but, no can do.
You cannot beat the drop on a bad guy that already has his firearm drawn and presented...with a Mag-Lite from 21' away.
And doggone it anyhow...you break my collar~bone and I'm still going to plug you serious-bad before I yell ouch!
I'm calling that one total BS.

That sounds kinda out there to me....Something you might see in a Bruce Lee movie. I don't think thats entirely possible.

As far as Mag Lights go, I love them. I have a 4D that I keep between the seat and the door of my truck. My right hand is for shifting (stick shift) and my gun, my left is for steering and my mag light...

At home I keep one next to the bed. Its come in handy a few times when the power has gone out or that sort of thing....and it would make a good club if worse came to worse....but I wouldn't want to use it as a "tactical" light. I would much rather have a SurFire or something of that sort for that kinda job.

A small light can be a good tool along with a gun though. You need to see where you are shooting ^_^

+1 Crankshop.......most truckers I encounter have spent way too much time alone and need a dose of reality.

More truckers carry guns than admit to it. I would expect to be looking down a barrel if I woke one up, and so would most BG.
