Perfect reason to shop on-line and not buy that $3 /gal. gas. Just put that money towards shipping charges. Much easier - no crowds too.

I have wondered for a long time why they haven't done this already. Seems to me it would be the perfect "terrorist" tactic. What better way to spread fear than to hit the all American shopping mall during the holidays.

I remember Richard Marcinko describing something like this just days after the 9/11 attacks during an interview with Geraldo Rivera; Hopefully this never happens, but if it does, lets just all hope and pray someone is carrying that can do what that brave policeman did in Utah.

If you remember, the Islamo-Facists have threatened to attack public places every year at Christmas time. They keep talking about it, but they never seem to be able to pull it off.
I, for one, am glad George Bush is keeping vigilant. Let's fight them over there, not here at home!

Terrorist main focus is to cause terror, Now that they have attacked once they only have to threaten to attack to terrorize people. It pays to be vigilant but they have already won half the battle by their threat that causes us to go on alert. I have not changed my lifestyle, I have always been on alert to terroist attacks, both from outside the country and from within. Back in the 60's it was local terrorist groups attacking the populace. I stay armed and try to remain alert. The Sheapol always forget quickly the things that frighten them, they are unable to learn from past events.

    stay alert

Living close to the largest mall in America (The Mall of America) we need to stay vigilant as well. Minnesota being a legal open or concealed carry state does offer some security however. The Mall of America is (illegally) posted a no carry zone but just about everybody ignores that. In Minnesota malls cannot post only individual stores. Iím not an alarmist, or a pessimist. But, there is very little doubt in any sane personís mind that things (i.e. safety, security, and our quality of life) are going to get a whole lot worse before all is shaken out
I carry to protect myself and my loved ones from the BG's. Not to solve societies problems. That said: if more carried the deterrent would only have a positive overall effect on those problems.

Stay alert, report suspicious behavior, be prepared to act in defense of yourself and your family. That's really all you can do. If you stay out of the malls, then the terrorists win by default. Screw'em...they want a fight, bring it on. They'll NEVER engage in a traditional stand up fight with either the general armed populace of the US, or our military...they know they will lose

in god we trust, all others better show us your hands.

You can blame that on the mayor and LE in those two cities.

Imagine though, don't you think it would increase the public demand for gun rights/ carry rights? Except of coarse for the blind .

I refuse to hide under my bed because of some pig-brained terrorists. I'll continue to live my life as I please (and the government allows me.)

A half-dozen mules carrying bombs in shopping bags, strolling by the cameras in a simple disguise. All either timed or cued to explode simultaneously. Amazing, indeed, that it has not already occurred. In time, it will.
