It's not the same neighborhood I moved in to!

I arrived home last night at 2300 to see that my driveway was blocked by this:

Seems a BG in a vehicle was pursued to my block where he then bailed. Comforting to know someone like that probably lives in my neighborhood! The picture doesn't show it but I counted 14 units!

Just one more reason why my signature says...

Sad ain't it - hard to say that any neighborhood is any more, guaranteed safe and good.

Bottom line really is, anything can go down, anytime and anywhere - thus the virtue of your sig line!!

But heck - 14 units ... shucks, what a turnout!!

Dirty little secret: it never was. And it doesn't matter which neighborhood we're talking about.

Since the day when criminals became mobile (ie, since day One), they've been a threat anywhere and everywhere. A runner like this is a good example. A "good" neighborhood actually presents better burglary opportunities, richer folk to rob, better cars to steal, wider streets for evasion/escape, higher incidence of condition "white" (relaxed "radar") in the neighbors, etc.

    Exactly...
The goodies are in the nice neighborhoods...and the 'goodie grabbers' know that...

Maybe they were filming an episode of Cops?

If baffles me when people say stuff like , " I live in a safe/nice neighborhood"

little do they know, crime lurks just around the corner given the opportunity
