I would love to hear them. You should start your own thread of them and other LEOs can chime in with their stories as well. Please think about it. I'm sure I'm not the only one here that would like to here some of the stories.

But as for me, I have never pulled my gun in selfdefense. I would like to keep it that way.

0 time but came close a few months ago. I was leaving out of a store, and when I came outside there was 4 guys sitting on my car trying to start trouble. I kindly asked them to get off my car and they did, I was a happy camper.

Twice. BGs were shot both times. Neither grand jury indicted me.

Once, but in defense of another, not myself. No shots fired.

Just a dog, no shots fired, and he nipped my foot after the owner showed up.

I love to carry, but would hate to be in a situation that would require me to draw.

Twice.....the first was a Pit Bull that approached me from behind.
Second happened last week....I posted the story here. I was amazingly in control of my thoughts and actions even tho he was only about 2 seconds from getting shot.

The first rule of gunfighting should be to know when the gunfight starts - being the last one to get the news certainly won't put the odds in your favor.

As a leo on duty- a few times

As a leo, but off duty in a civilian situation- once (2 BG's vs. me and 12gauge = 2 BG's surrendering)

As a purely civilian- no (but close a few times) I hope it stays that way. I don't want any form of trouble whatsoever, but with no other options, I'll step up to the plate as needed.
Turn the election's in 2014 to a "2A Revolution". It will serve as a 1994 refresher not to "infringe" on our Second Amendment. We know who they are now.........SEND 'EM HOME. Our success in this will be proportional to how hard we work to make it happen.

am I the only one over 5?

does my wife have target written on her...??

had to shoot twice, would have shot another - but.. went to the shotgun and my problem went away...

had three where I never drew... they saw the gun in its holster and thought better of it...

(and we are not even gonna talk about while I was in the Army...)

and I live in a quiet neighborhood - really I do
