I'm trying to decide if you're blessed or cursed! Blessed that you've survived or cursed that you've had to go to the gun so many times.

I accidently stopped a robbery of a gun store where I worked. I just happened to have my .45 out and I chambered a round as the BG walked up to me with a .410 snake charmer and was fixing to rob us. He asked for the price of .410 ammo and when he saw me chamber the round he sucked wind and said "never mind". He robbed Bragg Pawn just up the street 30 minutes later and stole 36 handguns. The other two times were against a bad dog that was fixing to attempt to eat me on my motercycle when it quit along the side of the road. I also killed a bad dog here with the house gun when it snarled at me in my own yard. I was not going to give it the chance to attack my son or wife.

I carry a Colt Delta Elite 10mm in Milt Sparks VM2 with 2 extra magazines on my belt. This is normally worn on a belt under my bib overalls and works great for me. My wife carries a Walther PPS .40 w/Crossbreed holster.

3 times drawn, twice shots had to be fired
2 times- hand on grip, gun need to draw.
numerous times drawn and fired at threatening critters(coyotes(eat our calves), pack of wild dogs about to attack fellow ranger, & rattlers & cottonmouths close enough to strike(tried to leave them alone if they'd leave me alone).

1 Draw (no CCW, but was in a hotel room. "Home" invasion situation.)
1 Show (with CCW, strong armed robbery attempt)
    0 Shots fired

Both time it was legal for me to posses the fire arm.
Both times against 3 or more BGs.
Both times the BGs folded and fled.

    No PD involved.

I had to pull once for an attempted carjacking/robbery. Thankfully, no shots were fired, and the BGs fled at the sight of my weapon.

One burglary, pulled a shotgun out. Another time got a bad vibe (strongarm robbery interview) kept my hand in a pocket with a 642. Dude noticed, made a comment, and walked away.

pulled and pointed at 2 BG as they closed to 5-6 feet .. they fled.

pulled and pointed at #3 of 3 bgs as he ran at me from behind to 12-15 ft or so ... had already backed down the first 2 at about 10 ft.

2 other times started a draw (but never cleared) to stop assualt or robbery.

No longer live in the kind of cities where this is common.

I'm at 2now and hope and pray it stays there. Once a junkie attacked my wheelchair bound mom and I in a Wally world parking lot. Accidentally hit him with it thank God I didn't need to fire. The second was in my G-ma's front yard and a Rottweiler decided to charge my family and me. With my 8 year old lil girl there I screamed for her to get inside as she ran and had her back to the dog I fired 6 rounds into it even after the 1st hit it in the neck/shoulder area. Rember BG's don't have to be 6"+ with gold teeth and weapons.

For the couple people who had good shoots and got off, what's it cost to convince a grand jury you are the gg?
