What would you do if you were disarmed?
However unthinkable. However unlikely. However implausible. No matter how much you think it couldn't/wouldn't/shouldn't happen.
What would you do if you were in a situation where you drew your gun, or were in the process of drawing your gun to respond to a threat, and the bad guy was able to take it from you?
Escape, evade, and pray!
Kick , punch , bite, stab, scratch ect. till BG was down and out or I was dead.
Figure we would have to be HtH, so it would be a no holds barred fight to the finish. Someone wouldn't be moving at the end. Can't say who, but I'd do everything I could to make it the BG.
BUG would help
If he can get it away from me - he wins.

In a H2H struggle over my gun, I would probably try to drop the mag on him. He still has one in the chamber, but he might not know that, and I might be able to make him miss one shot.

A couple options:
Run like H&LL, screaming like a banshee, and hope the BG is too distracted to figure out the manual-of-arms to get a good shot quickly enough to make you bleed.:aargh4:

Who knows, you may knock him off-balance enough (mentally and/or physically) to regain the lead. (Can you say, OODA? I knew you could!) Worth a try - beats pee-ing on yourself.

Stop drop and roll! I've got this crazy leg whip technique from back in my karate days. I actually splintered a sparring partner's shin while we were in Okinawa. He had been doing well, and I mis-judged his reaction speed--he never saw this coming, and never moved. He did get light duty for a couple months though. I was without a sparring partner for a long time after that. (this is what I would do--running would only get me shot in the back).
Yes, Aikido for the last several years and Karate when I was younger. Police officers have told me that they would do anything from holding down a hammer on a revolver to trying to drop a mag in a semi so I figure that's what I would try to do.Quote:
