If the scenerio repeats itself and the guy is in your yard as he was then, simply release the dog and let him tear the guys ass in half. Make sure you run out there with him to make sure the dog wins by laying a piece of wood on his head.

No seriously, keep that dog in tight and document everything. Definately let the local PD know and show them a pic of this hood. Above all don't scold the dog in any way by telling him to shut up or something while you try to deal with this guy. Just tell him good boy and put him out of harms way while you tt said thug with your pistol tucked. You're on your own property here. Do you all have the castle doctrine?

    Here I am

Guy has not shown up again....I guess that's good but, I was hoping for an explanation and some closure.

I still get creeped out when I think of how he would just "stand there" in the middle of the street like Michael Myers.

I only say this out of personal experience. Too often I have watched some real creeps get to walk away from a trespass, menacing, or harrasment charge because the intended victim did not give "fair" warning to the BG that his behaviour was not welcome or wanted.
I was surprised when the lawyer told and explained this to us. But after some thought it made sense, especially with how liberal some courts can be.
Not that I agree with it, but I don't agree with most of what happens in our courts, both criminal and civil.

    Hey OP,
I am glad you are okay! Keep your head up!

Maybe this was already suggested but make sure any neighbors that you trust are in on this situation and know what to look for.
