I also noticed that you lose points for not reacting fast enough, even if it's a don't shoot situation. I was too slow to re-holster for most of my 'misses'.

I got a little slow on the draw a few times.

It takes us half a second or more to even react while we have only one person to look at, we know what we are looking for, and we have no distractions. In a real world scenario, how much time would we really waste?

In the real world, people holding cell phones, beer cans, and guns, don't materialize out of thin air after you magically tele-port into the area.

Being aware of who is around you, how they act as they approach, etc. can give you a distinct edge over a scenario like this game.

On the other hand... who can draw and fire COM as fast as they can strike a key on the keyboard...?

What I am interested in after seeing the pictures is why is this seperated by race?? Are we trying to make a political statement? I would be very interested in analyzing the photos...some shots the item in the hand blends extremely well with the background others it contrasts severely...just a skeptic to the motives of the originator of this "test" since the results are seperated by race. Can't see another reason for it.

additionally, the way they are holding the item seems to be set to either contrast or blend the item in the hand...

    Yes, I know.

I was responding to a comment about real world vs. the game. The poster seemed to wonder whether or not real world response would be even slower.

My commentary was just to illustrate that in the real world people do not materialize out of thin air but on the other hand, you have to draw, aim and fire.

In other words, this is not a realistic program, but a fun one that will help you with base reaction time none the less.

I'm a slow poke. Can't say as I even saw a person's race, I was just focusing on a hand.
