Breaking up a fight...
Love you're stories, so I thought I share one of mine :)
In college I was a bartender in a busy nightclub in Los Angeles. I was new to the job and had heard about knife fights and 1 shooting a few years before so I was kinda scared to work there...
Anyway, my first night on the job and everyones pretty drunk and the band is so loud you can't hear anyone. About midnight a fight breaks out on my side of the bar and the bouncers can't hear or see me. I stupidly left the bar and started to push my way through the large crowd that was forming to break up the fight myself.
When I get to the center, one of the guys is on top of the other one just punching the heck out of him. I can only see is back. The guy getting punched senseless is on the ground on his back with the agresser on top. Its dark by the way...
So me trying to be the hero I grab the guy on top in a choke hold and yank him off...oops!!! Its two girls fighting and the girl on the ground had her shirted ripped open. When the crowd saw this they immediately pushed forward knocking me down onto the girl. My face landed right on her chest.
At about that time the bouncers showed up and they walked-up to see their new bartender laying on top of a half naked girl. I never lived that down!!!
Anyway, I have learned my lesson and stay away from the hero stuff now:)
Thanks for all the great articles and info. I am new to the site and hope this story isn't inappropriate...

Sounds like it ended up alright, but unless it is a man on a female, handicapped, elderly, or child I am staying out of a good ol'e fist fight!!

Kidding of course. That is too funny, but a nice way to end a fight if you have to get knocked down in the process I guess.

As p.o.'d as she probably was already from the fight, he's lucky he didn't end up with a black eye or bloody nose.
