After reading some of these posts and thinking about it. I think I'm going to start using the drive-through unless I HAVE to go inside. I typically go inside because it seems faster, but I suppose it's not worth the slim chance of something happening.

Well, I hate to rely on Hollywood for anything but entertainment but the movie Heat was interesting and had what I thought was a semi realistic bank robbery. Your money is insured and you don't lose a dime. Bank robbery in and of itself is a serious crime but murdering hostages in the process is a guarantee of life without parole, a serious consideration for someone who is simply trying to get rich quick. Being hustled into a back room doesn't necessarily mean execution although I would sure as hell get real nervous. Only thing I could think I would try to do is if I did end up in a room, to put myself in a position where I could have some kind of advantage and pray they don't try to bind my hands before I got a chance to draw.

In NC we have to die like sheep,we are not allowed to carry in any bank, credit union or the like.
IMHO, you should plan ahead and do all banking in the daytime. Avoid ATM's, if at all possible possible and always use the drivethru.

I agree, I think I would lay low and try to memorize as many details about the BG/BG's as I could and be as good a witness as possible. I would only resort to drawing my weapon if it was clear that they were going to start shooting people.
