I am fairly new around the forums, but I have read a couple posts lately that discuss carrying multiple handguns (Primary + Backup). These posts have got me thinking.
It seems to me that the probability of ever having to actually use a concealed firearm to defend your life (for NON-LEO) is miniscule. When combined with the probability that a well-maintained firearm will malfunction when you need it (thereby necessitating reliance on a BUG) the odds start getting even more steep. So my question is as follows:
Has anyone on this forum (who is not a Law Enforcement Officer on duty) had to actually use their concealed weapon to defend their lives or the life of another. If so, please elaborate. I look forward to hearing your stories.
Other than a possible 'yes', I doubt that most would want to discuss such an experience here on the forum.
The last Blood Moon Tetrad for this millennium starts in April 2014 and ends in September 2015...according to NASA.
