I am fairly new around the forums, but I have read a couple posts lately that discuss carrying multiple handguns (Primary + Backup). These posts have got me thinking.
It seems to me that the probability of ever having to actually use a concealed firearm to defend your life (for NON-LEO) is miniscule. When combined with the probability that a well-maintained firearm will malfunction when you need it (thereby necessitating reliance on a BUG) the odds start getting even more steep. So my question is as follows:
Has anyone on this forum (who is not a Law Enforcement Officer on duty) had to actually use their concealed weapon to defend their lives or the life of another. If so, please elaborate. I look forward to hearing your stories.
Other than a possible 'yes', I doubt that most would want to discuss such an experience here on the forum.
