Your top 3 cities were you need to be armed.

Whats your top 3 places/cities in which you think it's best to travel armed.

    1. I am originally from St.Louis, Missouri. So,
I am going to have to say East St.Louis, Illinois

    2. Driving though Bronx, New York on my way to Boston.

    3. Parts of Houston

    In my expirience:

    Phoenix recently
    New Orleans always
    Houston after Katrina
    Jacksonville is best avoided

I listed four because Houston wouldn't have been in there if they didn't have the Katrina refugees. I felt safer in Watts than in Jacksonville. The old Cabrini Green was an expirience. That's in Chicago for those of you that don't know.

I have to share your choice of East St. Louis, Illinois. I was stationed at Scott AFB which is located near Belleville, Illinois and occasionally got lost. I knew I was in trouble when I saw a lot of cars on blocks. The next thing I realize I see that I'm in East St. Louis! I made a 180 degree turn and went in the other direction.

The one I'm in, the one I'm going to, and the one I just left.
A man fires a rifle for many years, and he goes to war. And afterward he turns the rifle in at the armory, and he believes he's finished with the rifle. But no matter what else he might do with his hands - love a woman, build a house, change his son's diaper - his hands remember the rifle.

I'll agree with St. Louis, PCS'd a few times and drove through St. Louis, kinda rough looking.
I also agree with Katrina areas.
And the numbered streets of Newport News VA. I'm stationed at Langley AFB and learned real fast not to go there, especially growing up on a farm not experiencing things like that. They have some kind of system set up down there that when a shot is fired it "triangulates" or something like that and the LEO's have somewhat of a idea of where to respond to. Kind of impressive actually.

I have this strange need to be armed all the time and no desire to go to any cities.

I believe my sister would agree about Jacksonville. She works there and just applied for her CCL.

Pretty much seems like every city has its 'certain' neighborhoods where casual walks are not a wise activity, but from the places we often find ourselves, several cities come to mind as 'extra mag towns'.

Orlando, FL (getting worse my the day)
    Jacksonville, FL
Detroit, MI (everything is either dangerous or currupt)

Stay armed...even the best city can become your worse nightmare...stay safe!

Pretty much every town has its "bad sections", especially large cities. To me the risky thing is to be in a city I don't know so well and accidentally wind up in the bad section.
Turn the election's in 2014 to a "2A Revolution". It will serve as a 1994 refresher not to "infringe" on our Second Amendment. We know who they are now.........SEND 'EM HOME. Our success in this will be proportional to how hard we work to make it happen.

+1 for every city in this country. (too bad that alot of major cities infringe on our Second Amendment Rights and we can't)

My stupid simple answer is the city I'm in and the next two cities I'll be going to.....

Within the proximity of where I live, Jacksonville, Fl., New Orleans (got family down Louisiana way), and Houston(again family). Orlando just because I'm down that wayseveral times a year.

I'll be in Miami area next weekend so that's my next priority.

    Just three cities ain't enough...............

I live in Jacksonville and don't believe it's as bad as people make it out to be. It's all about situational awareness; no matter where you are or when you're there, you've got to pay attention.

In fact, I can't think of any major city in the US that is "safe" anymore.

    #2 St Louis
    #3 Memphis
#4 the rest of other Metropolitan areas, especially if it's one I'm not familar with and I travel there

In SE NC, avoid Robeson county. Lumberton, Pembroke, etc. I've heard even the EMTs carry there (against policy, of course).
