Robbery scene on TruTV.... got me wondering

I was bored , nothing on TV, and watching Dumbest 'something' on TruTV. They had this one where 2 guys come into a gas station / convenience store and one has a gun in hand, they tell the clerk to "give us the money". While the clerk is getting the money out of the register the guy points the gun at the clerks head... and "click" ... misfire. The real point here is the clerk was complying and there were no heated exchanges, with no warning, no words, no nothing .... he just aimed and pulled the trigger.

Robber slides the gun to chamber a new bullet ..... bullet flys out (so one was chambered) and he points it at the clerk again (who only just looked at him the first time) and "click" .... misfire.... again. So, robber is chambering another shell and the clerk "THEN decides" to jump the robber. So, they are fighting and then both robbers run out the door with no money.

I was in disbelief the clerk stood there and watched this guy do it twice before he did anything, and that the gun misfired twice. Lucky for the clerk.

Morale # 1 ; what I learned long ago, never assume they (BG) aren't going to shoot you.... they may do it with no provocation and with no inclination they are going to at all. I've seen it happen in several situations in my past job.

Morale # 2: don't let the BG aim a gun at your head, let alone just stand there if it misfires.....don't wait to see if it will happen twice.

Morale # 3: make sure your gun works before you plan to use it. Misfires at the wrong time, could be really bad... unless it's the BG's gun.

Never bring a 'click' to a 'bang' party...
The last Blood Moon Tetrad for this millennium starts in April 2014 and ends in September 2015...according to NASA.
