    {"For example, I watched a show the other night where some of the main characters pursued a bad guy through a sewer system with pistols drawn while a SWAT officer followed closely behind with full body armor and what looked like an MP5. Now maybe I'm wrong, but if I was a LEO in that situation (which I am not) I would definitely want to be behind the guy with the MP5 and armor!"}

    --Yeah, I wouldnt consider any movie that stars Colin Ferral and Samuel L. Jackson to have any real tactical wisdom to it. And be careful what cop shows you watch and of any LEO's you take advise from, cos a good number just plain dont like us, and theyre's also a good number CCer's that are better trained than alot of cops.

    Most "cop shows" on tv, ala CSI, law & order, NCIS, present an entirely false account of what happens in real police work. Oh, and forget about "24" with crack bauer, entirely unconstitutional.

    Well heck, I must be missing a lot for the only ones when I use to watch any of them, they were always going after the Prostitution folks, whoo whee, big thrill there.
