what garage in Jax ???
This is a discussion on Drew my weapon within the Carry & Defensive Scenarios forums, part of the Defensive Carry Discussions category; what garage in Jax ???...
I'm curious as well, did the BG's see your gun? If so, do you feel that stopped the potential threat of robbery by the two?
May we never forget those in uniform who protect us night and day in lands far away. And those in all wars who paid the supreme sacrifice in defense of our country. May God Bless our Troops and First Responders.
I believe the threat was obvious enough that you were justified in presenting your weapon. Good job. Good outcome.

I really want to know what garage?
I am betting it is one downtown. I am racking my brain trying to think of where their are any garages near restaurants in JAX other then downtown.
Please tell us!
Glad it was a non-shooting type of scenario.... That can be an eye opener for those anti's .....

Accuracy ALWAYS WINS! So carry what you can hit with.
If you find yourself in a fair fight your tactics stink.
The LCP is very powerful up close and personal, I carry a Kel Tec P3AT for the same reason.
Had one of them presented a weapon you would on not been under gunned as long as you are well practiced with the 380.
What ammo do you carry in LCP and what pocket holster do you carry it in?
You did very good!!!!!!!
NOT LIVING IN FEAR, JUST READY!!!
I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness,
nor the arrow for its swiftness,
nor the warrior for his glory.
I love only that which they defend.
the presentation is what impressed me the most...low and ready...not really brandishing by any means....more informative and prepared...that and you cutting off the guy from going behind you while you steered your mom into your protection and cleared the line of sight & fire to the potential thieves...
did you notice a trickle coming out of either of their pant legs?...
Good work. Glad you showed your mother that guns aren't always evil :)
All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.

That's probably completely wrong but that's what immediately went through my head while I was reading the OP.
It was at a mall on a wednesday night, I'm not positive of the name, I've only been to Jacksonville twice. (I was visiting for the weekend,) which is why my mom filed the report, becuase she knew the area.
To answer the other common question, both their eyes darted to the LCP right away. Their eyes stayed on it for a good fifteen seconds before I moved.I was very confident they would both be on the pavement before they could touch either of us. I was worried that somebody could approach us from behind while we were distracted as well, so I just wanted to get moving as quick as possible. I was suprised that there were so few people in the garage, luckily we we're close to my Jeep.
And finally my pocket holster is UncleMike's, and the LCP was loaded with Buffalo Bore Gold dot, my Dad keep it in his P3-AT, so I just mooch off of him ususally. I had one in the tube, ready to rock. Thankfully, I didn't have to.
