A very scary commute in !!!
Don't have a lot of time to type right now, but I will ellaborate when I get home. At about 06:30 this morning, about a block from arriving at the office here in Seattle, I was confronted AT GUNPOINT by a man in a vehicle beside me.
I managed to drive off quickly and get away. NO SHOTS WERE FIRED, but I was chased until I managed to get into our company parking lot. I had already phoned 911 via cell phone and had my gun ready in case he would have come at me, but he drove off once he saw me pull into our company parking lot.
Seattle PD was called, I did get a portion of the tag #, but it all happened to fast to get details, and I sure wasn't going to stick around and ask for the guy's name.
I'll expand on this when time allows........ right now, I've been giving some extra "thanks" for having survived a very frightening situation.
And for those who might question........ this was not a road rage incident and certainly WAS NOT provoked in any way.
Details to come.................

Scary situation, sounds like you did a good job getting someplace safe and getting the police involved immediately.
I'm interested in the rest of the story, but square yourself away first.
You survived, so I'd say you passed the test.

Glad you got out of a sticky situation... My concern is that you lead them to where you go(work)5 days a week. I'd be careful, not knowing what their motivation is.

Exactly what I was thinking. I would have driven to the police station or waited on the line with 911 while cops got to the guy following me.

glad it worked out for you...i'll mirror what the others have said regarding leading him to someplace familiar...a police station or very public place is going to take them off your tail and provide multiple witnesses if he tries something stupid...i dont know about leading him around until the police catch him...you dont know what he is going to try to do in the meantime...
interesting situation...glad youre ok...

for all that jerk knows he pulled into a parking lot to get around people. Its not like the OP got out of the car with suitcase in hand and skipped off to his job.
To the OP good job avoiding the encounter. Hope the police catch the idiot
