Long time buyer from them. Never have had one issue!
not sure but you can go on line and maybe order one and look through their web site, it is kind of tricky and sometimes when you look for a certain item you have to enter it in the search engine a couple of different ways. When I look up guns you can search by MFG or by handgun/rifle/shotgun or caliber. They used to have a lot of military surplus... German, Russian, eastern front type thing which is always interesting to look threw
Welcome aboard CTD. Have been pleased with my dealings with them.
Have ordered before........very good service............Welcome!!

I found this on another web site and since it is from a CTD corprate
office I didn't see no reason not to pass it along
I work in the corporate office for CTD, Inc. located in Fort Worth.
The retail store "Cheaper Than Dirt Outdoor Adventures is not owned or operated by us.
We are the catalog/internet company. We have a warehouse pickup window inside CTDOA.
Our brick and mortar store is in McKinney.

Here's a brief timeline of cheaper Than Dirt.
1993- Small office is opened in Fort Worth so gun show customers could pick up item that were not available at the gun shows. Catalog is started.
Retail store continues to grow. Catalog grows.
1997- First website is up.
2001- Owner feels that internet is the way of the future, sells the store to the manager. CTD, Inc. and the company that now owns the store are separated. Totally separate staff and inventory. Space is leased from CTD, Inc., and licensing of the name "Cheaper Than Dirt" is granted to the new store owner.
Catalog pickup window for CTD, Inc. is part of the deal.
2010- CTD, Inc. owner of the internet site and catalog business decides to sell firearms online, and needs to have a place to do transfers for the DFW area. By part of thge agreement, any new retail operation has to be outside of a set distance from Cheaper Than Dirt Outdoor Adventures. Opens Cheaper Than Dirt Guns! in McKinney, TX. As a service, Cheaper Than Dirt Guns! will do free transfers for firearms purchased online at CheaperThanDirt.com. No firearms are inventoried by CTD, Inc. in Fort Worth.
Overhead for a brick and mortar store is much greater than an online store, and pricing has to reflect that need for a greater margin to pay the expenses. Online doesn't need a staff of salesmen working on commission on the floor. A storefront cannot compete on pricing with an online site unless the prices online are higher.
Cheaper Than Dirt Outdoor Adventures is a very good retail store with plenty of stock, and a large staff. You're paying a bit more to have a person discuss your purchase and actually let you hold the item in your hands. Many people want that one on one experience, need the extra help, or want to know options. A computer monitor cannot do that.
Cheaper Than Dirt Outdoor Adventures chooses not to do transfers or try to compete with online sites. Judging against the other retail stores in the area is how you should compare pricing and service.
Judge CheaperThanDirt.com against other online sites for pricing and service.
It's not better or worse, just different.
Welcome CTD! Purchased my first carry from you. Great price and super fast shipping.
I have made past purchases from CTD and certainly will do so again. Welcome!
Great to have Cheaper Than Dirt here! Great web site with great prices!!!
Welcome CTD! A credit to the inductry.
I already received good advice on Federal Tactical .40 cal HST in the ammo & ballistics forum from him. Good to have you aboard!
Glad most of you guys are happy with them. I tried to order something from them some years ago (a rifle case I think) and they would not ship it to me as I live in Canada.
Their policy, their loss. They've closed the door on 35 million prospective customers.
However, Cabelas, Bass Pro, and Dillon Precision can still expect business from us.
One of my favorite sites to buy from...awesome news
'Some more praise for CTD:
Last week, my son sent me a link to a .223 barrel on CTD that he wanted to buy for his Rossi "Matched Pair" .22/20 gauge (I'll often buy stuff for him on the internet using my credit card and he just repays me in cash). Like an idiot, I didn't take the time to verify that the barrel would fit his receiver, and I ordered it. A few days later, the barrel promptly arrives and my boy is in agony when he realizes that the barrel won't fit, and I feel like a complete tool.
I noticed in the packing materials, there is a return shipping label, along with contact instructions if the item is to be returned. I called the phone number and spoke to a very nice lady who sympathized with my idiocy and mentioned that her husband had recently done something similar with her boys. I asked her what the re-stocking fee was, and she said "zero". Apparently CTD has a complete refund policy and they even paid the shipping!
You won't find many businesses that are run like this. I'm an even more loyal customer now.
