Last week, my son sent me a link to a .223 barrel on CTD that he wanted to buy for his Rossi "Matched Pair" .22/20 gauge (I'll often buy stuff for him on the internet using my credit card and he just repays me in cash). Like an idiot, I didn't take the time to verify that the barrel would fit his receiver, and I ordered it. A few days later, the barrel promptly arrives and my boy is in agony when he realizes that the barrel won't fit, and I feel like a complete tool.

I noticed in the packing materials, there is a return shipping label, along with contact instructions if the item is to be returned. I called the phone number and spoke to a very nice lady who sympathized with my idiocy and mentioned that her husband had recently done something similar with her boys. I asked her what the re-stocking fee was, and she said "zero". Apparently CTD has a complete refund policy and they even paid the shipping!

You won't find many businesses that are run like this. I'm an even more loyal customer now.
Thank you for the recommendation, WHEC724!

Yes, we do have a 90 day return policy for whatever reason you've got and we pay shipping for returns and both ways on an exchange. We want to make sure you're happy with you purchase and the product.

Also, we have a very good product support team to help figure out stuff like this. They can recommend the right products so you get what you need. If anyone has a product question or any gun related question, our experts would love to help you out. Give them a call at 888-625-3848

Never had one single problem with CTD. Lots of times I don't even bother to see if anyone might have it cheaper as I would rather know my order is right.

Hi. I made my first ammo purchase from CTD just last week. Excellent service and a great price. Order was promptly filled and shipped out with no delay. I will be a repeat customer (as this purchase as a "ahem" test).

They were great. Not anymore. I bought 9mm for $10.89 a box. Now it's $69.99 a box for the same exact ammo. They don't want to sell ammo during this shortage

I'm sure they want to sell ammo...just not to me. I may be back when they stop the gouging...no problem.

It's good that CTD is stepping up to be supportive of the forum.

Even though I understand supply and demand, their prices at times have gone to the extreme side where I no longer seek their supply and demand products from other, more competitive vendors.

I hope the relationship here becomes reciprocal and they return on the potential business growth provided by other forum members.

Welcome, use to purchase equipment all the time but not anymore, or at least until the ammo gouging comes down to something realistic. All I see is ammo over 500-600% higher than they use to sell. Since the price gouging, I find much better ammo prices locally.

    Good luck...

No way $60 for a box of 9mm. Glad I reaload. With those prices id have to sell my guns Us normal folk cant afford those prices. Thats gouging to the ultimate end if you ask me. Wal-mart has the same crap ammo for $13 a box. Thats still pricey for the russian crap but for that Ill buy it all day long. Cheaper than dirt should be Come Take My Dollars. C.T.D. Have a nice day. Im through venting now time for several brews to wash this away.

I, like others, would like to welcome you to the forum. I hope you hear read through some of the post on pricing especially for ammo. As has been mentioned above...it seems as though your customer service is outstanding. However, your pricing leaves much to be desired in these hard times. I get that it's the beauty of supply and demand/free market society, but with my LGSs holding prices to right at pre Sandy Hook levels, I ask why aren't you doing the same. You have lost loyal customers over this. I for one will probably not be a new customer in light of the pricing practices you have established. Good luck to you and those you employ. I wish you only the best as you learn from insight and feedback on this forum.

Has everyone forgotten what they did back in December? I don't care if they sell ammo at half the price as everyone else. Never again will they get one dime from me.
