    1st steps NG

Today I bought a cheap IWB for a Walther P22. Double checked the gun to make sure it was unloaded and put it on. Walked around the house, talked to the wife and son, got on the comp etc. Went out of my way to be noticed. Nothing. I was wearing jeans and a polo type shirt, nothing special. Since it was my 1st time carry concealed, I was kinda surprised. I was surprised at how easy it is. Except for me wearing the unloaded gun it was a normal day around the house. And yes I will soon get a permit. Just wanted to share a little bit.

Soon it'll be as second nature as getting dressed and will be just like grabbing your wallet each day. The first time I carried in public was at Walmart (I didnt realize everyone did that) and I was convinced EVERYONE noticed it. After a week or so it went away and I havent worried since.

Eventually you will feel so comfortable that you will have to tap your side to make sure its there, just like your wallet, ring, and watch.

Get the permit...take the WWW...and you'll soon start feeling weird without it.

I agree. You'll put it on in the morning like you put on socks.
One remark. My first IWB holster was an Uncle Mikes. The only option there was (in the store) when I bought my Glock 26.
It is OK yet I was/am worried the holster will come off my belt when running and it raises up when sitting or driving. So I have to adjust it quit often.
So I ordered a Kholster yesterday in the hope it stays where it's supposed to stay. And I can tuck in a shirt.
The Uncle Mikes conceals fine, I just think that the Kholster or the Supertuck will be better to keep it secure in every circumstance.
Just something you have to experience. Yours may work just fine.
And congrats on getting that permit. Good decision.

Just remember how people are now, while you aren't carrying, they don't even see "you" most of the time.

I am never unarmed, except for when I have to go to NJ. I hate that state!
